The vaccine "VanShotUltra 8" (for the prevention of clostridiosis and pasteurellosis of bovine animals) consists of two formalin-inactivated components: lyophilized-bacterin-toxoid Mannhemia (pasteurella) haemolytica and liquid-toxoid Clostridium chauvoi, Cl. Septicum, Cl. Haemolyticum, Cl. Novyi, Cl. Sordellii, Cl. Perfringens types C and D with the addition of adjuvant Stimugen.
The lyophilized component in appearance is a homogeneous porous mass from white to pale yellow, the liquid component is a liquid from yellow to light brown in color.
Form of issue
The lyophilized component of the vaccine is packaged in 10 and 50 doses in glass bottles of appropriate capacity, and the liquid component in plastic bottles with a capacity of 20 cm3 and 100 cm3.
Immunity against clostridiosis caused by Cl. Chauvoi, Cl. Septicum, Cl. Haemolyticum, Cl. Novyi, Cl. Sordellii, Cl. Perfringens of types C and D and pneumonia caused by Mannhemia haemolytica is formed in animals 3 weeks after a double vaccination and lasts no less than 12 months.
In recommended doses, the vaccine is harmless and areo-agentogenic. He does not have medicinal properties.
Indications for use
The vaccine is intended for the prevention of clostridiosis of cattle caused by Cl. Chauvoi, Cl. Septicum, Cl. Haemolyticum, Cl. Novyi, Cl. Sordellii, Cl. Perfringens types C and D and pneumonia caused by Mannhemia haemolytica. Before vaccination, the contents of the vial with the liquid component are transferred to the vial with the lyophilized component, following the rules of asepsis, shaking until complete dissolution. For immunization use disposable syringes and needles or reusable, which are sterilized by boiling for 20 minutes. Sterilization of syringes and needles by chemical means is not allowed.
Immunize only clinically healthy animals with a 45-day-old age. The vaccine is administered subcutaneously two times with an interval of 4-6 weeks in a volume of 2 ml (1 immunizing dose).
The injection site is treated with 70% alcohol or other antiseptic. Animals are provided with proper care and maintenance. Administration to animals of hyperimmune sera or immunosuppressants for 1 month before or after vaccination may reduce the immune response.
Slaughter animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 21 days after vaccination, milk is used without restrictions.
The vaccine is stored and transported in its original packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 20C to 70C. Do not allow freezing. Shelf life of the vaccine is 18 months from the date of manufacture, subject to storage conditions. The vaccine can not be used after the expiration date.
