Panacur AquaSol

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:

Fenbendazole-200 mg.

Excipients: benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, simethicone, water for injection.

Pharmacological properties

Fenbendazole (a group of benzimidazole) inhibits the polymerization of tubulin proteins in microtubulins, reduces the activity of energy enzymes, causes death of parasites from depletion. It has high activity and a broad spectrum of action against mature and immature stages of parasite development.

Animal species

Pigs.

Indications for use

Prophylaxis and treatment of pigs with lesions of gastrointestinal nematodes (mature and immature stages): Oesophagostomum spp. (Adult stages) Ascaris suum (adult and migrating larval stages) Hyostrongylus rubidus (adult and larval stages) Trihuris suis (adult stages).

Dosage

The dose is 2.5 mg of fenbendazole per 1 kg of body weight per day (equivalent to 0.0125 ml of Panacour Aquasol). For the prevention and treatment of animals with invasion Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum spp. And Hyostrongylus rubidus, the animals are treated for 2 consecutive days, Trihuris suis-3 consecutive days.

The period of withdrawal

Meat and offal-4 days.
