The vaccine Portsylis Strepsuis

COMPOSITION:

The vaccine is inactivated, it is a sterile homogeneous aqueous suspension of white color. The vaccine contains 5% inactivated full cell concentrate Streptococcus suis serotype 2 strain P 1/7. The active ingredient is suspended in an adjuvant 150 mg dl-α-tocopherol acetate

INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION:

The vaccine is intended for the prevention of streptococcosis in pigs, caused by strains of Streptococcus suis serotype 2

DOSAGE:

Vaccinate only clinically healthy animals

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the upper third of the neck behind the ear 2 ml per animal (of all age categories)

The basic vaccination of sows is carried out twice with an interval of 4 weeks, the second dose is administered 2-4 weeks before the expected farrowing date. Revaccination is carried out once for 2-4 weeks before the expected date of farrowing

Vaccination will be asked:

2 injections with an interval of 3 weeks, starting at the age of two weeks
