Immunobiological properties

The vaccine provides active immunity against respiratory and reproductive pathologies caused by the RRRS virus.

Kind of animals

Pigs

Indication

The vaccine is used to:

Sows: to reduce the effect of the virus on reproductive performance, the frequency and duration of the virus, the reduction of viral load on the tissue, as well as to prevent the transplacental transmission of the virus and the development of clinical features associated with the infection with the strains of the virus RRCS.

Piglets: To reduce the level and duration of viremia, viral load on the tissue, the development of respiratory pathology and weight loss associated with the infection with the RRRS virus.

In vaccinated animals, active immunity develops within 4 weeks of vaccination. In the sows, the immunity lasts for the reproductive cycle, and in the pigs until the end of the fattening period.

Vaccination of animals of all ages

Basic sows: Injection in each reproductive cycle should be administered to protect during pregnancy according to the scheme:

- repairing pigs are vaccinated with a single diluted vaccine 4 weeks before the planned insemination; - Sows are vaccinated with a once-diluted vaccine for 2 weeks before each insemination (for 13-20 days of lactation) or for 8-9 weeks of pregnancy (approximately 60 days after insemination).

Piglets: apply the first vaccine at 2 weeks of age. In some cases, in the presence of high levels of colostral antibodies, vaccination is recommended to be carried out at 3-4 weeks of age.

The vaccination scheme should be selected individually, depending on the epizootic situation in each individual farm.
